Sun in Hydrogen Alpha Light

With Coronado PST

Uploaded 8/8/10

The sun is slowly becoming more active. Today we have a clover leaf shaped single sunspot, with a long snake like filament nearby. Another spot is emerging onto the limb. Also, there are some very fine prominences protruding from the limb. These were shot at 9am this morning, and the seeing was the best of the day. Nearly all images here using the Coronado 2x solar barlow, except for the last image, with a Televue 5x power mate.
