Half a dozen small but intersting promineces on the sun today, and an ring shaped group of Halpha faculae around the two sunspots on the disk. The upper image is the normal Ha composite, and the lower image is the view with the filter tuned way off to show close to what a white light scope would reveal.

Processing: Extracted disk from green channel, prominences from red channel, and averaged 2 to8 images. Applied midtone curve adjustment in PS, then wavlet deconvolution, and dynamic background flattening process in Pix Insight. Combined and colorized disk and prominence image in Photoshop per accepted standard coloration creteria.
