Sun in HAlpha With Lunt LS100THa Uploaded 10/9/22 Daily Report For Sunday, October 9, 2022
The group of sunspots moving across the disk had minor flaring today, and one very nice brush shaped prom on the limb with tons of tiny details.

 Halpha:

The Full disk with the 0.5x Antares focal reducer to get the whole sun in one shot. The group of sunspots is flaring slightly here.

At the edge of the disk a few small proms, but at the bottom we can see a magnificent brush shaped prom!

Pulling out the reducer and installing a klee 3x shortie barlow yeilds 6x from the above frames. The big spot group has a lot of white plage with some possible C type flaring.

I liked the intricate detail on the limb edge here.

The other spot group is interesting in halpha but has no major sunspots inside

A very small spot as well.

nice filaments on this part of the limb

Finally a close up of that amazing brush shaped prom
