Sun in HAlpha With Lunt LS100THa Uploaded 5/15/22 Daily Report For Sunday, May 15, 2022
Some better seeing today, about 2.5/5 and good details on the proms were to be had.
Images below are 1290 wide and non clickable

 Halpha:

Lets start with the wide full disk shot, this two part composite is with the 0.5x Antares focal reducer. The disc was imaged at a gamma of 40, and the proms at 150

Next we insert the 3x klee barlow and remove the focal reducer, so these are about 6x magnification. The details on the disk were pretty good today, and several exciting active regions were imaged

The proms were the same magnification, but gamma set for 150. This brings out the subtle gradiations in the firey proms, and retails the spicules on the limb.
