Sun in CaK / White Light With Explore Scientific AR152 Refractor + Lunt CaK filter or Baader Wedge Uploaded 4/30/22 Daily Report For Saturday April 30, 2022
 Three smaller spot groups are now on the Suns Earthwards face. Seeing was still plagued by strong winds and way too much forest fire smoke.

 WHITE LIGHT:

Lets start with a two part composite of the full disk span with the AR152 stopped to 4 inches, a Baader Contiuum filter, and Herchel wedge.

Now we insert the 5x Televue powermate for some close ups of the three main spots. Granulation was fleeting!

 

 

 

Finally, some Calcium K shots in near UV. seeing always bad in UV, but we have some interesting details!
