Antares, M4, NGC6144 Globular Clusters Orion 8" f/4 Astrograph

Uploaded 6/7/18

This amazing field contains two well resolved globular clusters, and the red supergiant Antares on the left. I was not certain I could get M4 in the same shot, the field is very tight here! The main target of this shot however was the 9th magnitude globular NGC6144 just above center. But the field is also filled with an orange glow - the largest orange colored reflection nebula in the sky. This is IC4606 and spans more than the 2.5 degree field of the 8 inch.
