Comet C/2020 F8 Swan
in the morning sky
May 13, 2020

This 4th magnitude comet is now emerging into the northern hemispheres skies this week. A spectacular object for southern hemispere imagers up to this point, we can now see it emerging in the morning twilight as a very low contrast and difficult object in any instrument. It was not seen in the finder but visually was a challenging glow next to the orange star seen here.
