Comet C/2015 V2 Johnson
in the Morning sky
January 30th, 2017

This 11th magnitude comet which will be arriving this summer already has a superb dust tail, and now the coma and part of the tail near the head is showing green emissions. I went deep on this one, as to record the numerous galaxies in this field as well, which will be shown in another image that I am still finishing at this point. Here is the comet with beautifully spectrally colored star trails for now. Thanks for looking!
