Comet C/2015 Panstarrs R2
in the Evening sky in Taurus
March 4, 2018

This comet continues to be an excellent target amonst the Taurus Milky Way fields rich in stars. Tonight, we only had an hour to shoot the comet after the end of twilight because the comet moved into the nearby trees. The brightest star here is 7th magnitude and faintest galaxies are 19th. Ive marked one asteroid in the labeled shot below too.

The tail continues to be a nice blue coloration, and is currently a short fan with some extensions on the sides. On the right side of the field especially, you can see a large arc of reflection nebulosity that surrounds the area near the Pleiades star cluster.
