Comet Giacombini Zinner
in the Morning sky
September 15, 2018

This morning the comets head went right over M35 in Gemini, making a splendid photographic target. Seen here in this image is the comets coma over the scattered stars of the cluster, and the companion cluster to the lower right NGC2158 showing its golden hues.
