Comet Churyumov Gerisimenko 67P
in the morning sky
April 3, 2016

This Comet continues to be amazing for its long lasting performance. Now at 16.5 magnitude in Leo, this image shows a close approach to the bright edge on galaxy NGC3628 - part of the "Leo Trio" of bright galaxies. More close approaches this week, but alas, we are completely clouded out here in Arizona all week!
