NGC6946 Galaxy and NGC6939 Open Cluster Pair
with 10" f/3.9 Astrograph

This stunning pair of dissimilar objects lies in southern Cepheus which just fit perfect in the 10 inch with this camera. This is a short 40 minute set of data, but shows the beautiful blue stars and yellow core of NGC6946 and the range of golds and blues in the cluster NGC6939. Look carfully to the lower left of the cluster and youll see an enlongated fuzzy patch. This is a 16th magnitude UGC galaxy that is 2 arc mins in size.
