The 12.5 inch - Sphere Observatory Configuration
| After we moved
to Payson, I put the 16" first inside the sphere dome, then
finally put the 12.5" inside because of its superior optics.
We sold the 16" to an astronomer at the mirror lab at UofA
in Tucson. It worked so well as an astrograph that we kept it
as our primary instrument for many years. |

Riding on the back of the 12.5" Trifid tube is
a 6" f/3.6 Cometraker Astrograph. It is still
on the original mount I built.
