M42 Region Elite 100 Slide film test

This image above is 1/5 a 35mm frame. The grain is still very fine, and the color balance on NGC1977 is superb. For reds, the film is unremarkable, such that this would be a great film for reflection nebula, comets and galaxies with its ultra fine grain. It is unhypered here, but pushed 1 stop to make the background density useable with my Nikon LS2000 scanner. It is of course slow, and took 8 minutes at f/1.5 for sky fog limit.
