Above:
Dusk to Dawn sequence on Konica Centuria 400 with the robotic
Aurora Cam setup, from our dark sky site in Happy Jack, Arizona.
The sequence was started at 9pm on June 11th, and ended 3am.
The six hours are compressed in 24 frames to 12 seconds here.
Each exposure was 5 minutes in length, with ten minutes spacing,
this four per hour. All shots are with my Pentax K1000 in the
cam mount, and a Zenitar 16mm f/2.8 fisheye set for f/3. The
Aurora cam runs autonomously, and ran through this sequence unattended,
completing its task at the first glow of dawn. |
