Construction of the Base Framework

Making the support structure in the front yard at the house. It is bolted together with 3/8 bolts, and will be partially disassembled for transport to the remote observatory location. The framework will put the floor at about 5 feet off the ground for better visibility above the small pine trees nearby. The framework is coated with a deck stain/finish that contains a redwood coloration and a polyurethane coating in one stain.
