Open Cluster in Perseus

Uploaded 12/17/2000

With the small 10 arcminute field of my 12.5 inch, only the center of this loose open cluster is seen here. An extra surpise came when several background 17th - 19th magnitude galaxies were also recorded, none of which is cataloged in Megastar. The easiest one to see is the edge on object at the bottom, between two bright stars.
