Observatory Photography Clamp

The problem with taking pictures of yourself with the telescope is that no one is around to hold the camera at the right spot! The clamp works by attaching it to the guide rail that the roof rolls off by, and tightening a huge clamp screw, that was also 3d printed.

 You can see here a standard ball head mounts on the top of the clamp, and a huge hand bolt is tightened to hold it to the metal rail which the roof wheels roll on.
